american apparel again
i know i have blogged on this topic before, but i need to say: i just logged out of myspace and they showed me this ad for american apparel with several pictures of this model wearing various colored t-shirts, with the caption “now in 35 colors,” as if they thought of the concept of t-shirts. oooh, colors, wow. i’m so impressed. i bet they are needlessly overpriced too. i just don’t get this company, and people have tried to explain to me that they pay their workers fair wages or something, which is fine, but why not pay them to actually make clothing i would actually consider wearing outside of my bed? i don’t get it!
