something that bothers me about the olsen twins

They insist that they’re fraternal.

This is why I think THEY are wrong, and I am RIGHT.

Because a) they look exactly the same.  I don’t care if one of them has a freckle above her left eye that the other one doesn’t, or that one of them is half an inch shorter than the first.  b) i don’t think you can exactly prove the issue either way, short of DNA testing, which, BY THE WAY, they still haven’t consented to provide samples for, ignoring ALL of my letters.  identical twins are formed moments after conception when mytosis is rapidly occurring, and, instead of staying whole, the egg actually splits into two halves, two people.  The alternative being, there were two eggs to start with and two sperm fertilized them.  How could you possibly prove which happened?  Am I wrong?

P.S. once i saw this movie with my fave actor Mark Ruffalo *so hot* and this woman was telling this sad story about when she stopped nursing/lost her faith in the profession/people.  She said it was during a birth of twins, and they turned out to be siamese:  “first the boy came out.  then the girl.”  I cracked up and was sure, right up until the very end, that this would be some plot twist that would reveal itself and that she was in fact never a nurse at all and was some sort of pathological liar.  But it never happened.  How could somethign so stupid like that make it all the way into the final script that they actually use for the movie?  I don’t understand, and if I had been on the set, even as a PA, I’d be screaming THAT’S NOT POSSIBLE.  DO SOME RESEARCH!

*small disclaimer.  I could be wrong on any aforementioned sciencey stuff.  I base all statements I’ve made in the above on my tenth grade biology learnings.
